About Theatre Association NEST

NEST is the theatre association on the campus of the University of Twente. We are aimed at students but are open to anyone who has a passion for theatre. We currently have four groups: Musical, Toneel, TheatreLab and InterNEST. Want to know more about us or our groups? Check out our about page!

The rehearsals take place in Vrijhof, one of the buildings on the campus of the UT. The Musical group and TheatreLab rehearse on Tuesdays and Toneel together with InterNEST on Thursdays from 19:15 to 22:00.

Want to join?

There are open lessons at the beginning of each academic year. The next open lessons will be in September, after the summer vacation. The open lessons start at 19:15 in the Agora in the Vrijhof at the UT Campus. Please come by! At the end of the open lesson, you can sign up for auditions.

Don’t want to be (directly) on stage? No problem! Even then you can join NEST. Our performances are played by actors, but a backstage crew is always needed to empower the whole performance. Are you interested in decor, make-up, costumes, and theatrical technique? Then you are welcome to our association!
