These lessons are a fun way to find out if theatre might be something for you! We have something for everyone, with both Dutch and English lessons, and 4 different groups. Even if you don’t want to be on stage, you are welcome to join, since we are always looking for people that can help behind the scenes with making props, decor, make-up, etc. Does this sound fun to you? TUESDAY 5, 12 AND 19 SEP – 19:15
Onze musical groep repeteert op dinsdagen en voert elk jaar een Nederlands stuk op aan het eind van het jaar. Bij musical zal je naast acteren ook zingen en dansen. Je kan dit zelf ervaren tijdens de open lessen op de eerste 3 dinsdagen van het academisch jaar. De onderwerpen van de lessen varieren tussen acteren, zingen en dansen. De musical groep wordt komend jaar geleid door Marike Vijver en Saskia Hidding. Lijkt het jou leuk om hier deel van uit te maken? TheatreLab (EN)
TUESDAY 5, 12 AND 19 SEP – 19:15
Our TheatreLab group crafts complete performances from scratch. They write, act, build sets, props — every facet. The coming year they will explore how you transform inspiration into something original, from literal to more abstract interpretations of the source material, and find the juxtaposition between the sincere and the absurd. The group will be led by Jasper Kolnaar and Julia de Klerk.
During the open lessons you will follow the TheatreLab writing process in short. In week 1, they’ll shape intriguing scenes from inspiration. Week 2 merges, edits, transforms these scenes into a show. The final week emphasizes on acting, movement and composition so it can be performed. There are also some specific plans for crew, so you can join if you don’t want to act.

Toneel (NL)
THURSDAY 7, 14 AND 21 SEP – 19:15
Onze toneel groep doet Nederlands script theater en repeteert elke donderdag. Komend jaar werkt de groep aan een adaptatie van Dracula. De groep wordt geregisseerd door Wout Hofstede. Wil je kijken of jij hier tussen past? Kom naar de open lessen op de eerste 3 donderdagen van het academische jaar
InterNEST (EN)
THURSDAY 7, 14 AND 21 SEP – 19:15
Our InterNEST group rehearses on Thursdays and performs and English play at the end of the year. The coming year, InterNEST will be working on an adaptation of The Crucible. The group is directed by Erik Goetjaer. Would you like a taste of what it is like?
