NEST is having their open lessons! Come and try for free. See if playing theatre or helping behind the scenes is something for you!

NEST is the theatre association at the University of Twente. We rehearse in the Vrijhof every Tuesday and Thursday. The schedule of the open lessons is as follows:

Tuesday 2, 9, 16 September: Musical (NL) and Theatre Lab (EN)

Thursday 4, 11, 18 September: Toneel/Theatre (EN) and interNEST (EN)

All open lessons start at 19:30h and end at 22:00h.

The Open Lessons are mainly focused at playing theatre – or musical. For people who are more interested to help behind the scenes we got special presentations. 2, 4, 16 and 18 September, these crew presentations take place before the regular open lessons. 9 and 11 September, they are after the open lessons. However, we also recommend visiting the regular Open Lesson that evening. It gives you a great taste of our association.

After the open lessons we often have something to drink. So feel free to keep hanging around and socialize or ask your burning questions to us.

The exact location isn’t known at the moment, but it’s probably in the Agora. Or otherwise try Amphi theatre. We can be recognised by our lovely purple sweathers.

Feel free to approach just about anyone in the Vrijhof, or ask for help at the servicedesk if you can’t find us. We’re happy to show you the way.
